LOMARRA comes from a love of nature and all things sustainable.
All our products are handcrafted in small batches by Sydney based mother of two, Vanessa Armstrong. Vanessa loved nature from an early age, growing up in country NSW and competitively horse riding for over 20 years. She completed a Bachelor of Science (UNE) with Honours in Biochemistry & Zoology from Sydney University and after many years working for Planet Ark, an environmental organisation,
a love of sustainability was born.
 
Contracting a chronic kidney disease in 2011 only strengthened Vanessa's determination to live a more holistic lifestyle. After many years of using essential oils and making products for friends, LOMARRA was created. LOMARRA married her scientific knowledge with her passion for sustainability and her need to connect more to nature. 

Through LOMARRA, Vanessa has created a luxurious cleaning product that uses only the highest quality AUSTRALIAN ingredients. She believes products should be functional, luxurious to look at, a joy to use and without compromise in any way to our health. 
 
What does LOMARRA mean?
Vanessa was born in Scotland to two very patriotic Scottish parents. LOMARRA, is a Scottish Gaelic word meaning 'bare or naked' as this is what we are all about. We are all about getting back to basics and only using ingredients in our products that are truly necessary.
 
You don’t need the hard to pronounce ingredients to achieve a hygienic home. Our products work and last because of the way they are formulated.
